A designer inspired by color, texture and all things digital
After doing a lot of print, and a lot motion graphics I decided to combine them. The result are these GIFs that utilize changing textures to allude to motion.
A continuation of my classical statues that were decimated. This is a still from an animation that went from a nearly unrecognizable block, to a more 'featured' sculpture and then back again.
I began to create these three dimensional models from classical statuary, but decimating them to create a more 'digital' look to them. I ended up 3D printing this model for onclusion into a sculpture of mine which later would go on to receive "Best of 3D" in a gallery show.
This particular render uses SSS (Sub-Surface Scattering) which allows light in the environment to partially pass through it and diffuse.
